Tickets are selling well. Please come and buy yours at the Office as soon as possible.

Summer School
This year, we are running two weeks of summer school: Monday 2nd - Friday 6th August, and Monday 16th - Friday 20th August. Time is running out to book your place, and there are only a few palces left. Please see Mrs Hudson or Mrs Brushett if you would like a place for your children.

Prize Giving
This will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 in the Village Hall. We would like to see as many parents as possible attend.

Photograph Money
All photograph money must be in school by Wednesday or the photographs returned.

Book Orders
All orders were distributed last Friday. Thank you to everyone who supported the book orders this year: about £80 has been raised to spend on new books in school.

New Outdoor Play Area
I hope you've all had a chance to see the leaflet or view the photos on the Internet. If not, please click here to see it. The outdoor play area for Foundation Stage is an exciting addition to our school. We are now able to offer Nursery education for children from 2 years so, please, if you have any young children, or you know of anyone looking for a Nursery place, please get in touch, and come and look around. Places are limited. Please remember that the Nursery Grant of £63.90 is available from the ages of 3 to 5.

Stilts and Musical Instruments
We have been tidying up corners in school and have found some new, unused pairs of stilts. These are solid wood and adjustable. They retail for £35, but we are selling them for £15 each. We also have flutes, violins, and clarinets, selling for £35 each. If you are interested in any of these, please see Mrs Midgley in the office.

Old Wallpaper
Unwanted wallpaper makes a colourful alternative to our usual backing paper. If you have any unwanted rolls (full or part) of wallpaper or lining paper, we would be very grateful.

Milk, Fruit and Lunch Forms.
Please remember that these forms must be returned by the 5th of July.

School Clothing
A big thank you to everyone who brought in bags of old clothes. We raised £108, and will receive a bonus of £100 for holding three collections this year. Please hang onto any clothes, bedding etc you may have for future collections.

Sunhats
School sunhats, priced £5, are now available from the Office. Please note that children are not allowed to wear other sunhats in school.

Football Competitions.
All the competitions have now ended, although we canot give some of the prizes until the World Cup has finished. Thank you to everyone who entered: £240.50 has been raised for Basic Human Rights to spend on recreaton areas for the children of Haiti.

Uniform Sale
There will be a sale of second hand uniform on Wednesday 14th July at 3:30 in the hall. Children who are leaving the school at the end of this term may wear their own clothes from Wednesday so that their uniform may be put in the sale. Each item of uniform must be clearly labelled and priced, unless donated to the school. 10% of the proceeds from each sale will go towards school funds.
