Reach for the Stars: 18th October 2010

HALF TERM
Please note that the school finishes at 3pm on Friday 22nd October and re-opens on Monday 1st November.

Harvest Festival
Thank you to everyone who sent in tins of food. These will be donated to the Bradford Soup Run which provides hot food to the homeless in Bradford. If you wish to donate and have not yet done so, we are still collecting, and will arrange for the tins to be collected by the Soup Run at the end of the week.

Football
Apologies for the cancellation of the football last Friday. Unfortunately, the coach's wife was not well. Steve will arrange extra classes or a refund after half-term. PLEASE NOTE: there is no football this Friday. The next session will be Friday 5th November.

Clothes Collection
We are again old clothes, shoes, bedding etc, to help raise money for school funds. Each child will bring home a plastic bag. If you can fill it, it would be wonderful, and you can fill as many as bags as you wish. Extra bags are available at the school office, or you can use a black bin bag. Please return the bags to school, on Thursday 4th November.

School Uniform
After half term, all the children should be in winter uniform. For the girls, this means pinafore dresses and, for the boys, long trousers with shirt and tie. Children wearing winter coats must wear a school hat, cap or woolly hat. Mittens/gloves should be black or green. Woolly hats (£5) and gloves (£2.75) are available from school.
